I had a ceiling drywall in my basement in Palos Heights all bathroom that needed to be replaced in 2 days. Communication through the project was very good. Crew was on time for all work and finished in a timely manner. Work was excellent and professional. Even several spots that were called out as tricky before the job looked better than expected when finished.

We discovered the ceilings were sagging in a home we were to move into in 2 weeks. We found Juan and Excel on-line and called him on a Sunday. We sent some pictures of the sagging ceilings and he came out Monday and gave us a quote. His quote was very reasonable. His crew was on time and removed the sagging ceilings and cleaned up all the insulation that then fell down. Everything was disposed of properly. The next crew came in and installed all the new drywall on every ceiling in the home. They did a great job. Ceilings all look great. They were friendly and again they cleaned up afterwards. Juan and team removed our sagging family room ceiling, replaced the drywall and also repaired some problem areas on the walls. They were efficient, meticulous and did a fantastic job of clean-up. I contacted Excel drywall to repair the damaged drywall on my ceilings and repair all the taping in two rooms, and I am so happy with the with the work that was done. My walls and ceilings look fantastic! They work fast and clean everything up. This is an A+ company and I highly recommend them.

I'm one of those people who only writes detailed reviews after receiving bad service and wants to get the person into trouble, but my experience with Excel Drywall was outstanding! Within 2-3 years of moving into a new construction home, multiple ceiling cracks formed in nearly every room of the house (the builder won't address finish issues after 12 months). I received estimates from three companies and Juan was the only one who gave a detailed explanation of how the cracks would be repaired, what materials would be used, and he provided that explanation without me having to ask for it. Before choosing a contractor, I wanted assurance that the cracks would be fixed correctly instead of putting on a band-aid with joint compound, so I asked the other two companies how they would repair the cracks: One company gave a vague answer, and the other stopped responding. From day one, Juan was very professional, responsive, and dependable. His team did exceptional work and went the extra mile by repairing additional flaws in the drywall that I missed. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves and I was amazed at how well they were able to control the amount of dust. Juan stands by his work and assured me that if any cracks return, he will have them addressed, but I have full confidence in the repair longevity. When choosing a drywall contractor, do yourself a huge favor by getting multiple bids and asking detailed questions. Most likely, the cheapest company will use the cheapest materials and fastest techniques, which won't hold up over time. I cannot say enough great things about Juan and his team. I would absolutely recommend Excel Drywall to my family and close friends because I know they would receive fantastic treatment and quality repairs that will last.

We contacted Juan to skim coat our textured plaster walls & ceiling and hang a couple sheets of drywall. He got back to us the same day, and was able to come out within a day or two for a quote. He and his crew did great work! Our walls are very smooth and our house looks brand new. I wish I had before and after pictures because the transformation was amazing!
